Welcome to HyperTweak. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HyperTweak software application (“Software,” “HyperTweak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using HyperTweak, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not download, install, or use the Software.


1. About HyperTweak

5. System Modifications and Risk Acknowledgment

HyperTweak is designed to modify certain Windows system settings, files, startup configurations, and registry entries for the purpose of optimizing system performance.

By using HyperTweak, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Modifying system settings carries inherent risk. While HyperTweak is designed and tested to operate safely, no software can guarantee error-free performance on every system configuration, hardware combination, or Windows version.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data and creating a system restore point before using optimization features, especially those involving registry changes or startup modifications.
  • We strongly recommend reviewing any changes proposed by the Software before applying them, where such review options are made available within the app.
  • You use HyperTweak’s optimization features at your own discretion and risk.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

HyperTweak is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We do not warrant that HyperTweak will meet your specific requirements, resolve all performance issues, or be compatible with every hardware or software configuration.


7. Limitation of Liability

10. Open Source Software and Attribution

HyperTweak is built upon Sparkle, an open-source Windows optimization application originally created by Parcoil and licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). The original Sparkle project is available at: https://github.com/thedogecraft/sparkle

In keeping with the terms of the GPL-3.0 license:

  • HyperTweak is itself fully open source, and its complete source code is publicly available at: [https://github.com/anshulrana2018-dot/HyperTweak]
  • The original copyright notices and license terms from Sparkle have been preserved within the codebase, as required by GPL-3.0.
  • Any modifications made to the original Sparkle code are reflected in HyperTweak’s source code, available for review at the repository linked above.
  • A full copy of the GNU General Public License v3.0 is included with the Software’s source code and can also be found at: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.en.html

We are grateful to Parcoil and all contributors to the Sparkle project, as well as the broader open-source community, for making this work possible.

If you redistribute, modify, or build upon HyperTweak, you must comply with the terms of the GPL-3.0 license, including making your source code available under the same license.


11. Intellectual Property

HyperTweak’s name, logo, and branding (excluding the underlying open-source code described in Section 10) are owned by [Company/Owner Legal Name].
